Membership Application
Because some of our sections may be full already, please do not just show up without first contacting us at info@westshoreband.org. That will also allow us to ensure there is music available for your instrument.
Here is a PDF version of the 2026-2027 Membership Application form. Complete it as follows:
- Download the form to your desktop computer, laptop, tablet, etc. (This will give a better result than filling in the form online.)
- The form contains fill-in fields — just tab through the document, filling in the appropriate spaces and clicking on the appropriate boxes.
- Please note that there is a second page to the form that is a release for photos, videos, etc. Starting this season, the release form will not need to be renewed each year unless you wish to alter or revoke your permission.
- Print the form and bring it to registration (or the first rehearsal you attend, if you miss the registration evening).

Membership Dues
Dues for the 2026-2027 season are $200 for all players, payable within two weeks of joining the Band.
If you are a prospective member who wants to determine if the Band is a good fit for you before paying full dues you must pay a drop-in fee of $10 per session. If you commit to joining the band, payment of dues is required within two weeks of joining but the drop-in fee(s) will be credited toward the full amount.
If you are unable to pay the dues, you may discuss with the treasurer your reason to be considered for alternate arrangements.
There are two payment options:
- Pay for the entire season at once ($200);
- Pay for one semester at a time: September to December ($80) and January to August ($120).
We prefer that dues be be paid by e-transfer but we will also accept cash or cheque. Dues may also be paid by credit or debit card, but the amount of the processing fee will be added to the amount of the dues.
